Arrowmoon District Roundtable
April 11, 2019 | 7:00 pm
Roundtable is now being held at Brazos Valley Council of Governments (4001 East 29th St., Suite 1104, Bryan, Texas 77802).
Roundtable is a district monthly meeting typically held the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (4001 East 29th St., Suite 1104, Bryan, Texas 77802) to help unit leaders plan and carry out their own program. Roundtable is a form of supplemental training for volunteers. The objective of Roundtable is to give leaders program ideas; information on policy, events, and training opportunities; and an opportunity to share experiences and enjoy fun and fellowship with other Scouting leaders. As a result of the roundtable experience, unit leaders will be inspired, motivated, informed, and able to provide a stronger program for their Scouts. Follow us on Facebook

March 29-31, 2019
Camporee is a weekend campout for troops around the district. Patrols compete in various competitions and are judged on leadership, teamwork, skill demonstration and Scout spirit. Every troop must send a representative to the February and March roundtable to help plan the camporee. Every troop needs run a part of the camporee (e.g., competition, facilities). This year’s camporee promises to challenge the youth leadership. These events cannot happen without each Scout’s competitive spirit and participation. The event is being held at Camp Arrowmoon. Registration is done by the troop leadership. The registration fee is $10 per Scout; adults are free.
